Little Giant
So many of the projects we work on in our home require the use of a ladder. With tall ceilings and needing to get to heights higher than we needed to previously, a regular ladder wasn’t going to cut it. Little Giant came to the rescue and we love it’s versatility.
Little Giant Ladder
This is an amazing ladder that we have used for hanging holiday lights, washing windows, clearing the gutter, changing lightbulbs and so much more. My 5’3″ wife has used it for hanging things indoors, as for her the step ladder doesn’t quite allow her to reach those heights.
It’s a flexible ladder, that can be extended, angled, straightened out. It all depends on what you need it for. Our neighbors have borrowed it a few times to clean windows or fix something on the roof. This short video will give you an overview of this amazing product.
This ladder has easily been one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. We now have three of them! We have two different heights for outdoor needs, and one for upstairs to access our attic so we don’t have to drag one of the other two up a flight of stairs through the house. It’s guaranteed we would take a chunk out of the wall eventually.
Stretching out the ladder all the way does make my wife quite nervous as it does flex inward a bit. I have read multiple reviews that this concerns others as well but they’ve had no problems. It has high ratings everywhere and does feel very safe. Extending it all the way out, or just to make it taller, does need the two of us. I imagine some are able to do this alone, but we are usually both outside when I’m using the ladder anyway so this saves time to have us both extending out whatever part.
Little Giant 15005 Wall Rack
Where to store our Little Giant when not needed? Keeping it standing up is not recommended, and hanging on just any rack won’t do. Luckily Little Giant has a rack made just for its ladder line. We are able to store our ladders without fear of them falling onto our cars in case of earthquake.
The hardest part was finding the studs in my garage to hang this on the wall. Once we did that, the rest was easy. This is a high quality rack and it holds my Little Giant securely against the wall.
Installation Tip: Put your level on the actual hooks so your ladder hangs straight!

Little Giant – Final Thoughts
As mentioned above, the Little Giant is certainly a very versatile ladder. Whether you need to change a lightbulb over a staircase, paint a higher wall or ceiling in your home, hang holiday lights, trim tree branches, or whatever you need it for, this is the ladder for you.
Even with our hesitation of the flexing/movement while it is fully extended, I do feel safe using this ladder. Probably best never to do anything high up, use a ladder without someone with you in case of emergency or injury. You also don’t want to be stuck up on a roof in case you accidentally knock the ladder over!
Do you need ladders often? Where do you store yours when you’re done using it?
